European Linen ™ Certification "Long Fiber Supply Is Expected To Increase Significantly
From the European Flax and Hemp Union: With the gradual completion of European flax harvesting and the production of flax fiber harvested in the spring of 2024, the Union can confirm the following information:
2024 European Linen ™ Certification "The total area of flax planting declared reached 185849 hectares (France: 162124 hectares; Belgium: 20156 hectares; Netherlands: 3569 hectares), setting a new record, more than 20000 hectares more than the previous record in 2020.
Therefore, according to the prediction of the European Flax and Cannabis Union and the anti hemp organizations of various countries, the monthly output in the next few months will increase significantly compared with the monthly output in the past 12 months, which is specifically reflected in:
October December 2024
European Linen ™ Certification: The monthly output of long fiber is expected to be between 13500 tons and 15500 tons.
January June 2025
The monthly output of long fiber in European Linen Certification is expected to exceed 18000 tons.
